In what can only be described as a peak of American exceptionalism Donnie sent JD over to just take Greenland. Something kind of like shoplifting.

In response, Denmark’s correctly felt and widespread anger has resulted in boycotts of American products. Perfect for our new dawn of tariff terror. That’s right we are slamming countries with trade tarrifs when they are telling us to go and pound salt. Not only do they not want to sell to us, they are actively boycotting us.

How did I not see that tarrifs would be the sweatener to the Trump administration’s absurd push to claim ownership of Greenland? Who could have known that this would prompt Danish shoppers to actively avoid U.S. goods and services including Tesla, Netflix, and Coca-Cola?
