It seemed the entire federal government descended on Glendale like vultures circling carrion, not to mourn but to feast. They came to transform a funeral into a fascist rally, to exploit a widow's tears for political gain, to manufacture enemies from thin air and justify the coming persecution of anyone who dares speak truth to power.
