Opinion: We Are Letting Trump Kill People
In the never-ending chaos that is Trump, we need to remember that people are dying. People with lives that are rich in experience, family, culture, and love.
The smoke has cleared from the U.S. bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, and the verdict is savagely clear: we just witnessed the bloodiest distraction campaign in history. Intelligence assessments confirm that the strikes accomplished virtually nothing—delaying Iran's nuclear program by mere months while slaughtering hundreds of civilians and torching international law. But perhaps obliterating centrifuges was never the objective. Perhaps the real target was obliterating headlines about two politicians whose careers were decomposing in real time.
