The Bully Principal
A vineyard, a plastic surgeon, and the social vultures circling over Columbia County
Bullies are like farts in church—embarrassing, noisy, and impossible to ignore. They linger in the air long after the offense, and everyone pretends not to notice while silently suffering.
My Romeo.
When I first wrote about the brewing controversy in Columbia County, I anticipated pushback. What I did not anticipate was just how many people were hungry for someone to say it out loud. The readership numbers soared. Subscriptions ticked upward. Tongues wagged from Chatham to Kinderhook. Even those who found my style too pungent appreciated the news itself—that rarest of commodities in local journalism.
The story, for those just tuning in, concerns Dr. Ed Williams and his wife Cheri, whose evolving agricultural ambitions have raised eyebrows among their neighbors. On December 11, there will be a meeting—broadcast live on Google Meet—where the good doctor will have his opportunity to make his case. I encourage anyone with a dog in this fight to do some digging before then.
